Ventilated Fire Barriers

TENMAT Ventilated Fire Barriers are fire tested for up to 2 hours to provide a fire barrier behind cladding or rainscreen systems that require a ventilated cavity to be maintained.
The low profile intumescent designs ensure that a high percentage free area is maintained within the cavity. However in a fire situation, the intumescent will expand rapidly to fill the cavity and limit the spread of fire and hot gases.
All of the Ventilated Fire Barriers are simply mechanically fixed within the cavity offering labour saving of up to 75% over other systems.
The Ventilated Fire Barriers have also been fire tested in combustible timber structures unlike other rainscreen or cavity fire barriers.
